Heartfelt comments like this are why I truly love my job!
As an Oxford graduate and with more than 6 years experience in retail management and consultancy for corporations including Marks & Spencer and KPMG, in 2015 I left the city behind to pursue a life filled with creativity. I transferred the knowledge, expertise and skills I’d acquired in business to embark on a career in wedding planning and I haven’t looked back!
Alongside formal accreditation with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, I’ve trained in floristry with the Real Flower Company and Royal florist Shane Connolly, attended Leith’s School of Food & Wine and completed a professional cake making course at Squires Kitchen. This equipped me with a thorough insight into the world of weddings and the level of craft required to be at the top of your game.
Since then I’ve worked with many wonderful couples and some of the most talented, passionate professionals in the business. Building and fostering a network of trusted suppliers is key to what I do.
When I’m not planning weddings, I’m typically found navigating my way around London’s abundance of amazing restaurants (Soho’s Bocca di Lupo remains a firm favourite!) and travelling to new horizons such as Tanzania and India. My most recent city break to Lisbon combined the two – it’s a must-visit destination for all foodies!
