Enchanting autumn wedding at Kew Gardens with an Orangery reception

PLANNING & DESIGN BY EMMA JOY / PHOTOGRAPHY BY JAMIE DUNN

CATERING BY CAPER & BERRY / LIVE MUSIC BY WANDERING HANDS

Catrin and Laurence were blessed with warm October sunshine for their Kew Gardens wedding. Kew was ablaze with autumn colours and it looked even more stunning than usual! The Nash Conservatory, with its natural light and beauty, provided a stunning setting for the ceremony, perfectly complementing the rich autumnal colours of Kew.

We embraced the autumn theme with a rust colour palette, seasonal autumnal flowers and wooden cross-back chairs, creating a relaxed, authentic autumn wedding atmosphere. It was a delight to experiment with different colours and textures at Kew.

After the ceremony, guests were treated to lively music by the Wandering Hands, setting a joyous tone with their covers. They then welcomed guests into the Orangery for a sumptuous dinner catered by Caper and Berry. As the evening unfolded in the Orangery, the space transformed into an enchanting setting, aglow with magical flickering candlelight that created a cosy and beautiful ambience. This warm, inviting atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for the evening's festivities, adding an extra touch of charm to an already unforgettable celebration.

The fun continued into the evening with plentiful cocktails and an awesome DJ. What a night!

“We wanted to thank you so so much for all your help and guidance over the past 9 months and on Sunday, we loved every second of our beautiful wedding and couldn’t have done it without you! We haven’t stopped receiving messages from all of our guests about how amazing the wedding was. Every detail was perfect and seeing the Orangery before everyone came in was so magical, it made us feel really emotional!”
